Cosplay W.I.P, Medi-gun by GingerwithHat Cosplay W.I.P, Medi-gun by GingerwithHat
My Medic cosplay is moving along pretty decent, so here's a picture of my finished Medi-gun.
Made of cardboard, glue and painted with acrylic paint :D

Made for RED Medic cosplay

Thanks :D I actually added the tape around the barrel and attached
a red light in the barrel a few days later.

I'll post a new picture tomorrow :)

I think you should add some black tape around the tube at the front of the medi-gun; also, I'M JELLY.

(also, Medic is best class with Soldier and Spy)

You made this from cardboard? I envy you so much.

Well, I didn't really have any other materials, so I had to improvise
(also because I'm too cheap to buy anything if I can avoid it XD)

That's my case exactly. I've used cardboard to make a golden wrench for an Engie buddy of mine, and I originally made a Direct Hit from soda bottles.

That's really impressive, since the Direct Hit looks really complicated  :D

I'm kinda new with propmaking, so the Medi-pack and Medi-gun is basically my first try.
I might make other tf2 props in the future :)

It's all about MacGyvering things. One man's trash is another man's materials.

Exactly. Cosplay props don't have to be expensive to make, as long
as you make it because you love doing it.

True, very true. In fact I cosplay TF2 because it's a lot of fun to not take yourself too seriously. I mean, who wouldn't want to cosplay as a deranged German medic? I'm already part German, so it's a natural fit.

That why I started cosplaying too, because I was pretty shy in the beginning, but when I started cosplaying, I actually became a bit more open and confident. Besides, it's really fun when you find other cosplayers from the same fandom.

Aww, thanks :D

I have seen some even better Medi-guns, but this was the best I could
do with the materials I had, but I'm still very glad that you like it :)
